As I was prepping Elizabeth’s Cosmic Traffic Report e-newsletter I noticed that she accidently had put in Corvid-19 instead of COVID-19. It may have been an autocorrect, but when I was done giggling I thought maybe that was a cosmic hint as Corvid is actually a family of birds that includes Crow and Raven!

For me some of the highlights of Crow energy are

• Extremely smart and resourceful
• Thieves
• Collectors of shiny baubles.
• Traditionally because of Crow’s association with witches it reflects a connection to magik and power.

Some thoughts from authors I admire on Crow energy

• Messengers
• Ability to shape-shift or change form
• Gateway to the supernatural
• Forming strong communities
• Spiritual strength
• Energy
• Birth/creation
• Creativity
• Balance
• Manifestation
• Watching for omens or guiding signs
• Expect change
• Finding balance
• Keepers of sacred law
• Communication and warning others
• Speaking out against injustice,
• Watchfulness
• Magic of Creation
• Power of illusion and magic.
• Intelligence – outwitting others
• Stop trying to push things and they will go much more smoothly.

Wow we got a lot of potential wrapped up in this bird! But how does all of this reflect in what is going on right now? Can it… Does it… reflect on our current COVID pandemic?

I see a lot of possibilities here not the least of which is Watchfulness, Warning, Communication and Community.

We need to;

Cultivate and maintain a sense of Community

Be watchful of not only what is going on, but for each other.

Using our Intelligence to make sure we are discerning between what is fact, what is wishful thinking and what is downright wrong and possibly dangerous

Finding a new balance in our lives and finding what sparks our energy, makes us creative and comfortable/happy

I can certainly see where most of these points apply to my life, and I hope it sheds some light on yours as well.
